Cooling Tower

Lunova cooling towers are engineered for maximum durability, performance, and reliability. Built using corrosion- and chemical-resistant materials like FRP, PVC, and MS HDO/SS, they adapt seamlessly to a wide range of water-cooling applications. Available in capacities from 5 TR to 500 TR, our towers efficiently cool water at 3 GPM per TR, with a temperature drop (Δt) of 5°C to 8°C.

Electric motor

  • Type - Squirrel Cage Induction Motor

  • Protection Class - IP55 or higher (dust and water jet resistant)

  • Power Rating - 15 HP to 100 HP (varies with fan size and tower capacity)

Fills

  • Material - PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) / ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

  • Design - Corrugated or herringbone pattern sheets for maximum surface area

  • Fill Block Size - Standard block: 600 mm (W) × 300 mm (H) × 1200 mm (L)

Spray Nozzle

  • Type - Static Spray Nozzle (non-rotating)

  • Material - Polypropylene, Nylon, ABS, PVC, or Brass (for high temp or chemical resistance)Orifice Diameter 3 mm to 10 mm (varies with flow rate and distribution requirement)

Cooling Tower Fan

  • Fan Type - Axial Flow Fan (Induced Draft, Top-Mounted)

  • Blade Material - FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), Aluminum Alloy, or HDG Steel

  • Hub Connection - Taper lock or bolt-fastened hub to gearbox shaft

Cooling tower basin

  • Type - Cold Water Collection Basin (integrated at bottom of tower)

  • Material Options - Concrete (RCC), FRP (Fiberglass), Stainless Steel (SS 304/316)

  • Connections - Make-up Water Connection, Drain Connection, Overflow Pipe
